Dr. Oakley William Hall Jr.

	Dr. Oakley William Hall Jr., known as 'Bill', passed away December 2, 2003 at his home in Topeka, Kansas.  
	Dr. Hall was born August 18, 1929 in Herrin to Oakley and Nina (Cripps) Hall Sr.  He lived in Dowell and went to school at Elkville High School, graduating with the class of 1947.  He joined the U.S. Air Force later that year and served all over the world.
	When he retired from service, he owned and operated Alliance Real Estate with his wife until his death.
	Dr. Hall is survived by his wife, Robbie; two sons, Jim (Barb) Hall and Dr. Larry (Holly) Hall; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of Kansas; three sisters, Violet (Jesse) Kennedy of Du Quoin, Rose (Jim) Waldrop of St. Louis, Mo. and Pansy (Robert) Jones of Murphysboro.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one daughter.
	Visitation was Sunday, December 7 at Pennwell Gable Funeral Home followed by services on Monday, December 8 at Mount Hope Chapel Garden in Topeka, Kansas.  Rev. Judy Mitchell Rich officiated at the service.
	Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Full military rites with Honor Guard were provided by Whiteman Air Force Base.
